Maisy Brown’s last single, “This Is All On You”, was produced by Maisy and myself. I was also involved in the two singles either side of “This Is All On You”:

“Devil”, the single that proceeded it, features some additional production from me. I programmed the drums, and also added several layers of keyboards to the track at various points.

I was similarly involved with Maisy’s latest single, “Every Universe”. I added the synth bass that enters in verse two, and the synth pad layers that appear throughout the song. I also did the mix on this track.

Super excited for this one: “This Is All On You”, the latest single from Maisy Brown, produced and mixed by me.

We worked on a bunch of songs together at the start of 2023, and this one was always the favourite. It’s another example of an acoustic guitar and vocal demo growing in to something completely different, in this case in to a pop ballad with layers of synths and keys.

We were listening to lots of Folklore by Taylor Swift, and pretty much all of Holly Humberstone’s releases that were out at the time during these sessions, and I think you can hear that influence on this track.

Another new single just dropped from Almost Unique, produced by me!!

This one has been around since about 2021, but in a completely different style. The lyrics were pretty much exactly the same, but the production was much more electronic, whereas this version, while still very electronic, is much more rock influenced. There wasn’t a single electric guitar on the original version, and now most of the track count is made up of electric guitars!

Almost Unique is back making new music! A few weeks ago she dropped her new single, “Something Called Disconnection”, which was produced and mixed by yours truly.

This is quite a change from our earlier work together on the Sanctuary EP, with a more rock oriented sound and more guitars going on. Hope you enjoy!

Some readers may remember some tracks I produced with an artist called Almost Unique back in 2020, including Break The Tie and Wanna Feel Alive.

Almost Unique just released the Sanctuary EP, which features these two tracks, along with an alternative version of Break The Tie, and the title track, which has never previously been released.

All these tracks were produced remotely by Almost Unique and myself during the 2020/2021 lockdowns here in the UK. It was fun to look back at these tracks, especially “Sanctuary, which I personally haven’t heard in a very long time.
